Measures slide fastener chains and cuts excess scoops (links)
from chains to shorten chains to specified length: Measures
chain against bench mounted ruler to determine number of scoops
to remove. Cuts each socop from tape, using pincers. Rubs scoops
against edge of bench to remove them from tape. Cuts tape
between chains to form individual zipper, using scissors.
Examines zippers for broken or missing scoops and discards
defective zippers. May count and record number of zpipers
produced.
